Diamond Tea BagPG Tips is a British company that makes tea (otherwise, this story would be even odder than it already it is). Boodles jewelers (an exclusive jeweller based in the UK) made a diamond teabag to celebrate PG Tips 75th birthday. The tea bag was hand-crafted using 280 diamonds. The tea bag is valued at around $14,000. I knew the British took their tea seriously, but now I know they're plain crazy about it.
Needless to say, a diamond tea bag is just plain crazy. However, its good to know that the tea bag will be raffled off to help raise money for a children's charity. I guess some tea fanatic will bid on this one. How much would it suck for the person who buys this tea bag if someone used it? How much of its value would be lost if someone used the tea bags ... assuming the diamonds stayed in tacked?
