Have Money to Burn? Pay $18,600 for a Fork

Have money to burn? How about paying $18,600 for a fork? Alright, you caught me. I'm exaggerating. For that meager price you get a dinner fork, dinner knife, soup spoon, salad fork, and teaspoon. Five entire eating utensils. Wow. I can smell a bargain from a mile away.

Malmaison Classique Flatware by Christofle features sterling silver cutlery with handles trimmed with diamonds of exceptional quality. The collection includes knives, forks and spoons with diamonds embellished in the front and back. Diamonds are set by hand in France and the set includes one of each: dinner fork, dinner knife, soup spoon, salad fork, and teaspoon. The set is priced at $18,600.

I hope you plan on eating alone. A dinner party of four can end up costing you close to $75,000 just for the utensils. Of course, the winners of the $370 million dollar mega millions drawing on Tuesday are probably not worrying about this.

Do you think that the utensils are dishwasher safe?

Thanks to our friends at BornRich for letting us in on this great deal.

Expensive Fork

Kind of makes spoon collections look petty.
