High Tide Heels

Innovations in fashion are what I look for to post on this blog. So anything different yet stylish and stylish usually catches my eye. This is what happened when I saw these flippers with heels. You read that right...flippers, used for swimming, with heels.

If you don't believe me, have a look.

The design of the shoes got me thinking, with global warming and rising water levels, high heel flippers might one day become an essential part of our lives. Australian designer Lisa Carney is credited with designing these shoes, but I am still unaware where one might buy them.

A style statement for stylish scuba divers, the high-heeled flipper shoes might be just the thing for all glamorous women out there.

Fashionable and adventurous, I am waiting for some shoe maker to take up the challenge and manufacture these on a large scale.

then

wouldn't it be good with "collapsable" heels so it is a total flipper when using in water. As well as folding up some of the front part or something.
