Chocolate 1957 Harley Davidson
Artist Jim Victor is a sculptor that creates art from my favorite thing on the planet…food.
I have to say, if I sculpted huge works of art out of chocolate, I’d probably weigh 1000 lbs. Each piece of chocolate I picked up would be split – one for me, one for the sculpture, one for me, one for the sculpture...you know the drill.
Cleopatra in Chocolate
With over thirty years of experience as a teacher and artist, Jim’s artwork has appeared in many places. He has won numerous awards and his many food sculptures have included artwork made of butter, chocolate and cheese.
Actual Jeep Covered with Chocolate
Jim has been invited to various events to make sculptures out of white and dark chocolate, where he colors the white chocolate with spices or glaze to add color to it.
Wine Bottle and Glass Made of Chocolate
He has used hundreds of pounds of butter, chocolate and cheese for his work and sometimes it gets all thrown out after he is done. The food gets handled too much and is therefore contaminated. I’d have to agree that throwing it out is a wise idea.

Turkey Butter Sculpture
I wonder if I could get a sculpture of a man made out of chocolate. That would be great – he would smell nice, stay indoors because of the extreme heat, and not say a word. Hmm, the perfect man? I think we have a winner!
Which sculptures of Jim's do you like the best?
Many thanks to Jim Victor!
